It's time to retire. Drs Kerry Willoughby and Kevin Giles will be hanging up their stethoscopes at the end of January 2025. We are grateful and humbled to have been part of this community for the last thirty-six years. We are proud of the professional care and collegial nature that has made Farm St Family Health Centre a highly respected and valued GP practice since opening our doors in April 1992. And we are confident that we are leaving Farm St in exceptionally capable hands, thanks to our fantastic colleagues and wonderful staff.
We will miss many things about life at Farm Street, but it's time to quietly slip out the back door. Stop and chat if you spot us walking the beach, wandering up the Mount or pedaling down Matapihi Rd - we're still going to be here š

IĀ was born in Dunedin but grew up in the Mount and went to Mount College. IĀ trained at Otago University where I met my wife... Dr Wendy Huang.
I have beenĀ a GP since 2005. I have been at Farm St since 2016. I like all aspects of General Practice but particularly have an interest in Medicine, Cardiology and Aged Care.
Outside of work I enjoy reading, cricket and driving my two sons to all theirĀ sports.
I graduated from Glasgow University in 1996, moved to New Zealand in 2007, and have enjoyed being a partner at Farm St since 2010.
As well as providing general medical care and minor skin surgery I have a special interest in child, adolescent and women's health including Jadelle and Mirena insertion.
I enjoy reading, running and family time.
Graduated Otago Medical School 1982 and founding partner at Farm St.
Kevin and I arrived in the Mount with a six-month old babe in arms and haven't moved. The Mount has been a wonderful place to live and work and raise our four children. It is a privilege to see the children of our early patients now bringing their own offspring to the practice, this continuity over the years is one of the fantastically rewarding parts of general practice.
Outside work these days I can be found climbing the Mount or Pap Hills, enjoying classical music and singing with Vocal Chords (a health providers based choir ā no audition needed fortunately).
Originally from Katikati, I graduated from Otago Medical School in 1983. After a couple of years based in the UK, Kerry and I returned to NZ and I completed my GP training in Palmerston North. Our families (the grandparents) were the pull to bring us back to the Bay in 1989 and we were welcomed into the Mount.
I am grateful to have been able to provide continuity of care for over thirty years to this community. We have family centred medicine at the core of our partnership at Farm St and I am fortunate to have fellow colleagues who share this ideal. We provide a full range of General Medical care. I have particularly enjoyed the care of older patients, skin surgery and seeing children ā generally a tonic for any day.
I enjoy getting out on my bike when I can. I completed the Tour Aotearoa during summer 2020, a bike trekking adventure from Cape Reinga to Bluff.
I graduated from Otago Medical School in 2000 and moved to Tauranga in 2004. I joined Farm Street Family Health in 2009 and especially enjoy preventative care, chronic medical conditions, children's health, skin concerns and women's health. I also provide Jadelle insertion/removal and minor surgeries. Consultations can be done in English or Mandarin.
I am married to Andrew and enjoy cooking and cake decorating. Much of my free time is also taken up pursuing classical, musical theatre and choral singing. I belong to two choirs and do solo concerts from time to time.
I am originally from the UK and graduated from the University of Leeds. I came over to New Zealand in 2018 and fell in love with the country, finding my home in the beautiful Bay of Plenty.
I worked in numerous hospitals in the UK and New Zealand before settling on a career in general practice. I am a GP registrar and joined the Farm Street team in 2022. I'm really pleased that I will be continuing my training here. I value Farm Street's whanau centered approach to general practice and hope this will reflect in my clinic.
The ocean is a big part of my life so outside of work you'll find me at the beach either surfing or kiting!
I grew up in Geraldine, South Canterbury, graduated from the University of Otago in 2013 and moved to Tauranga in 2016. I am happy to have joined the Farm Street Family Health team in 2024.
I am committed to creating a safe, non-judgmental space for my patients where they feel heard, respected and involved in their healthcare decisions.
I enjoy all aspects of General Practice especially women's health and children's health.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my husband, daughter and friends. Baking, gardening, handicrafts and travel.
